 Barbara Joe-Williams is a quintessential southern girl. She is a long-term resident of Tallahassee, Florida; she was born and raised in Rosston, Arkansas. She spent four years in the U.S. Navy prior to attending college. She holds an A. A. degree in Office Education from Tallahassee Community College. She has a B.S. degree in Business Education and a M.Ed. in Counseling Education from Florida A&M. University. She is currently a full-time writer and publisher. Her love of reading and strong beliefs in love inspired her to pen her first romance novel.

Barbara enjoys life with her husband, Wilbert, and their four-year old daughter, Amani. She has already started working on her second novel in this three part series to be released November 2005.
