Regina N. Lewis and her sister Phyllis M. Moore have created another charming, old-fashioned fairy tale that gently teaches children the magic of words like altruism and patience. A list of helpful suggestions gives teachers and parents ideas for making a whole alphabet of these magic words part of a child's daily life.

"Never has being good had such a sweet taste! Hats off to Regina and Phyllis for teaching moral values with such kindness and respect. Hey, those are two of the magic words!"

Adrian Fogelin, author of Crossing Jordan, Anna Casey's Place in the World, My Brothers Hero, Sister Spider Knows All, and The Big Nothing

"In The Smallest Toy Store, author Regina Lewis and illustrator P.M. Moore capture both the magic of Christmas and the hope of homeless Lillibeth and Jacob for home, love, and security. This book will make young readers aware of the plight of homeless children within a warm, joyous, and uplifting story!"

Billy Moore, author "Cracker's Mule" and "Little Brother Real Snake"

Regina N. Lewis (Ms. Regina) has been writing children's stories, fiction, and health-related articles for several years. "The Smallest Toy Store" is the first in a series of children's books to be published from her collection. Ms. Regina's children's stories focus on social awareness such as homelessness at a gentle level that a young reader can understand. Ms. Regina believes that most children can learn the lessons of life by relating to fantasy stories and characters.

Much of Ms. Regina's inspiration to write about social concerns comes from her nursing/medical experiences. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Ms. Regina loves the South with its beautiful magnolia and oak trees, Spanish
moss, brilliant flowers, butterflies, birds, lakes, oceans, and wildlife.
She is a Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health Care and resides in Havana, Florida, with her husband, Tom, and family.
